Some companies make applicants sign up their own careers website to submit applications. I hope they all just use one portal like Seek. I don't want to leave my information there and I won't use it any more after my application is declined. Ridiculously, some websites don't even have the option to delete the account. I have to email them to delete my account. It is one of the frustrating things in job hunting. If you want to collect information on your own website, please make it PROPERLY!

Applied for over 2000 jobs in 2 years and not 1 single interview. Almost 20 years in customer service/logistics. People say my CV is great with a lot of skills. Recruiters are the problem, saying you have the skills but not the right fit, maybe in their view but the company who is ACTUALLY looking for an employee has missed out because of 3rd party recruiters.

I've applied for hundreds of jobs over two years. Recruiters call my CV "one of the best," but I get no interviews. Maybe I need to upskill to standing out in the post recession market? My question on upskilling to both the hiring managers and job seekers: • Does aone more multiple Coursera/edX/Google Certificate actively differentiate a strong CV and secure interviews? • In your experience, is this investment a clear hiring advantage?

Been job hunting for 6mths. Have applied for jobs I was qualified for, and not getting any traction. I’d make initial interviews, but fail at the 2nd stage. Job descriptions in the ads match exactly my skillset, yet no luck. I must interview poorly in person I guess…? Most of the roles I’ve applied for have had over 100+ applicants also apply so competition is extremely high. It’s getting frustrating. Am I the only one?

Honestly losing hope, I’ve been searching and applying for any type of jobs since I left school back in 2023 and and I’ve had more interviews then jobs, been told to “look for a job” or “you’re not looking hard enough” like bro I’ve been applying and handing out my cv’s to stores and still nothing lowkey getting sick of this

How do you even have a chance when over a hundred people are applying for the same job in a small town. No chance if changing careers, no one will give you the opportunity or chance to prove that your skills will actually cross over to that industry. Is it also based on your age , they think your getting to old so why bother putting the effort into training. Also businesses do not want to have to provide any form of training these days they just want you to walk in and know how to do the job
