Sharing a tip that I hope a fellow salesperson or marketeer would find useful :) It’s small personal touches that makes all the difference for me. I have found that instantly following up with biz partners kept me top of mind. Constant communication, actively exchanging questions, comments, building real rapport - that’s usually how deals are closed (well, mine anyway!). Also curious to learn from others - what small personal touches have made the biggest difference in your sales process?

I’ve just moved into my first management role and to be honest I kind of hate it. My fault, I didn’t realise how much red tape and admin and meetings, so many meetings, would come with it. I don’t get to do any actual work that I wanted to do when I entered my line of work as a designer. For those with more experience: how did you adjust? Are there ways to manage all the paperwork so I still get to do some hands-on creative work? Appreciate any advice.

Looking for opinions and advice: I currently make $95k plus commission per year in a SAAS sales role travelling around the country. I have the chance to significantly improve my income (to ~$130) by moving to a non-travel role in Auckland but I'm worried I'm not ready to 'settle down' because I love the travel. What would you do?
