I'm in my 30s and working in hospo for more than 10 years now - had a moment of "what am I doing with my life?" recently. I don't have any other work experience though I do manage a small team so I have that in my favour. I would like any type of office job! I'm not fussy - just normal hours and not dealing with customers. What are some free or cheap online courses I can do in my spare time for getting started?

It's been a long time i am trying to change my career field but due to having no experience, no companies takes any interest and gets an easy response of others are having more experience that's why we can't process your application further. i have started some part time studies just to get some skills and hope to get a job but let's see if that will work. I'm a 39 year old qualified painter and decorator, I used to own a company for 3 years before Covid put an end to it and now I have to stuck being a foreman on the tools. I have tried to set up another company but the work just isn't out there at the moment. Looking to change careers, get into project management or something sales in the paint industry but everyone wants experience. Feel stuck and unaore what to do withy life

Trying to figure out next steps. My partner and I decided to leave our jobs for various reasons, we have a 15 month old baby and have few expenses. I have the option of relief teaching if i want (not keen,) Not too concerned about money and busy (lots to be done), and i know that the right job will come up for my partner. Thinking itd be good to find something remote/flexible where i work 30 hours a week. Not sure what, bookkeeping? As i enjoy planning, researching, organising and im resourceful

Not sure if this is the right place to post as I've never really had a 'career'? Ive hopped from temp job to casual job and part time since leaving school. Had kids so spent time raising them and now they're in school, Im 35 and feel like I want to do something more serious but where do I start? I feel old and behind the 8 ball. Aside from applying for entry level jobs what else can I do? Is it worth getting a certificate or training at my age?

I’ve been an office worker my entire life (now in my late 40s) and I’m tired of it, really just unmotivated to sit at a desk for 8 hours a day, plus I don’t really get any sense of purpose from my job. I want a radical change and to study environmental science and work outdoors/do something that benefits the environment. Does anyone have any advice or personal stories of making this kind of career jump at this age? Were you successful? Any regrets? I need hope...

Hi My Name is Nilesh Borade from Pune India. I am Java Developer with 10 year experience in Java AWS micro services architecture along with CI/CD and Dev ops activities like docker and Kubernetes . I am trying to apply for java positions with SEEK with visa sponsored jobs in NZ and Aus, but I am not getting much response as I dont have working VISA currently , any suggestions for sponsored VISA jobs in NZ and Aus for same profile ?
