I'm seeking some insights from people in supply chain logistics. I’m a part-time inventory coordinator at a big company and have the chance to move into a full-time operations role for way more pay. BUT there's weekend work involved. I do want to move up the ranks and I don’t mind the grind, but I’m keen to hear stories from people already working in similar logistics roles. Do you enjoy it? Is it worth it? Are there any roles where you can move to a more structured 9-5?

It's been a long time i am trying to change my career field but due to having no experience, no companies takes any interest and gets an easy response of others are having more experience that's why we can't process your application further. i have started some part time studies just to get some skills and hope to get a job but let's see if that will work. As i don't think it will but hopefully

Has anyone here done a degree or Polytech course in their 30's? I got an bank job straight out of school and I don't hate it but I'm so bored and I want to do something else, I'm not even sure what. I'm about to turn 30 and feel lost. I like the idea of doing something creative but I literally hve no certificates or skills. Whst are my realistic options here?

Hey - just wondering if anyone has successfully changed careers in their early 50s? I've been in admin for 20+ years but interior design brings me joy. I have a great job and work at a great hotel with great employees and managers. However, I'm wanting to gain experience in other hospitality/tourism/customer service roles. I've been applying at a wide range of new and different companies since January 2025 and I've only made it to ONE interview. Every response I get from failed applications/interviews is that someone else has a little more experience than I do, which I think is such a rip off textbook response.

Can we talk about career pivots? I'm interested to hear success stories of people changing jobs like I'm about to do. I'm 38 and have spent more than 15 years working at the same place in a minimum wage job, even though I'm now manager. Next year I'm going to start a teaching degree as a mature age student. Would love to hear how a career change like this has gone for others

I'm in my early 50s and have experience as a facilitator, administrator, Office Manager/ Operations Manager to ......to where I am now. It's not my ideal job, there's no job satisfaction; it just pays the bills. I'd really like to move into something that would encompass all if not most of the skills and experience I've gained over the years. I guess the fear is being re-employed at my age.... any suggestions on what route to take?

I’m in my 20s and have had an account management job for 5 years now and i find myself often wondering if i should change careers while I'm still young. I’m interested in graphic design but apparently that’s going to be taken by AI, so I'm hesitant to leave my stable job. What does everyone think? Is the grass always greener or is it worth the risk?
