I'm in my 30s and working in hospo for more than 10 years now - had a moment of "what am I doing with my life?" recently. I don't have any other work experience though I do manage a small team so I have that in my favour. I would like any type of office job! I'm not fussy - just normal hours and not dealing with customers. What are some free or cheap online courses I can do in my spare time for getting started?

I'm a 39 year old qualified painter and decorator, I used to own a company for 3 years before Covid put an end to it and now I have to stuck being a foreman on the tools. I have tried to set up another company but the work just isn't out there at the moment. Looking to change careers, get into project management or something sales in the paint industry but everyone wants experience. Feel stuck and unaore what to do withy life

Trying to figure out next steps. My partner and I decided to leave our jobs for various reasons, we have a 15 month old baby and have few expenses. I have the option of relief teaching if i want (not keen,) Not too concerned about money and busy (lots to be done), and i know that the right job will come up for my partner. Thinking itd be good to find something remote/flexible where i work 30 hours a week. Not sure what, bookkeeping? As i enjoy planning, researching, organising and im resourceful

Hi , I have experience In contact centre, child care, Warehousing and elderly care but lord it's so hard to get a job these days. Getting told need more experience, being over qualified. I really want to change careers and go into support worker or community worker. I'm in my early 50s and have experience as a facilitator, administrator, Office Manager/ Operations Manager to ......to where I am now. It's not my ideal job, there's no job satisfaction; it just pays the bills. I'd really like to move into something that would encompass all if not most of the skills and experience I've gained over the years. I guess the fear is being re-employed at my age.... any suggestions on what route to take?

It's been a long time i am trying to change my career field but due to having no experience, no companies takes any interest and gets an easy response of others are having more experience that's why we can't process your application further. i have started some part time studies just to get some skills and hope to get a job but let's see if that will work.
