Writing a cover letter? 📝 Switch 'To Whom it May Concern' for one of these: ➡️ Dear [person's name] ➡️ To the hiring manager ➡️ Dear Sir or Madam ➡️ To the [department name] "To Whom it May Concern" is OK if you don't know who'll be reading your email. "Your resume shouldn't be a history book. Make it a highlight reel!" Hot take: Most resumes are painfully boring. Stop writing: "Responsible for managing social media accounts." Start writing: "Grew engagement 34% by spotting audience trends others missed." One is a job description. The other shows how your brain works. Hiring managers don't want people who can follow instructions. They want people who can solve problems they haven't even identified yet.
