Hi, I just graduated with a Bachelor of Design from uni last year. During university, I worked as a freelance artist for 2 years, and also managed a milk tea store for 1.5 years, while gaining over 6 years of customer service experience. I love design and drawing, and I’m available to start anytime, but I just can’t find any jobs😢 Could you guys please advise what kind of roles I could apply for that relate to my design background?

Is anybody else actually really struggling getting a job? I’ve applied for so many! I’ve applied for jobs I’ve had experience in and job I’m over qualified for and 9 times out of 10 I don’t even get an interview. When I do get an interview I get told that I’m perfect for the job then I hear nothing for 2 weeks I reach out and they say they’ve filled the position or don’t even contact me back…

i’ve applied for hundreds of jobs this year, only gotten 4 interviews that didn’t go anywhere. 1 employer called me and we spoke, Then proceeded to say “oh i can’t invite you to a interview because you’ve been unemployed for too long” which was a year..he had ignored my 4 years experience & wasted my time as i had that on my CV. It made me loose more hope in finding a job. Good luck everyone :(!!
