Is anybody else actually really struggling getting a job? I’ve applied for so many! I’ve applied for jobs I’ve had experience in and job I’m over qualified for and 9 times out of 10 I don’t even get an interview. When I do get an interview I get told that I’m perfect for the job then I hear nothing for 2 weeks I reach out and they say they’ve filled the position or don’t even contact me back…

I am a resident visa holder with 10 years experience in Emergency Management. I have a sound understanding on how emergency/crisis response work. I have been constantly applying available job opportunities all across the country that fit my experience, qualifications and skills (sometimes I apply entry level jobs), however, my applications doesn't usually progress to the next stage (not even close to interviews).
