Ive been constantly applying for jobs since 2022 i had to leave my last job cause of an incident that damaged my back which cause me to have minor back surgery before i could recover i was hit with the news that i had a huge tear on my left mitral valve near my heart so of course i had to get minor surgery to repair that.eventually i got better and started applying for jobs i had a impressive cv i applied for so many jobs and majority i never heard back.even now applied havent heard back.

Hello, try start somewhere first is by apply or attending a course that is in the Auckland central that is relate to hospitality or housekeeping or stocking need some experience so I can add into my c.v and hopefully I can grab a full-time job please. getting bored staying home I wanna use my availability to do something before I get stuck on the chair haha. thank you

I'm in a bit of an awkward situation. I started a new job a couple weeks ago, then was accepted for another job I applied for that is more in line with what I want to be doing. I'm still in the onboarding phase at my new job and thinking the sooner I leave, the better for both parties. In this case, is two weeks notice for resigning still the standard? Is there an HR person here that can advise?

I need advice about a team member who is underperforming (cafe staff). Absolutely everyone loves them - the other staff, our customers - but they frequently arrive late, leave early, and mess up orders. I've spoken to them about this, but their work is still sloppy. I’ve also talked about this with the owner and I have their support in whatever I choose to do. I like this person but they're causing me so much stress - what to do??

Hospo advice needed! I’m a hotel night auditor and I’ve been in my role for 2 years. We recently changed management and are now integrating teams and people are moving to other posts or getting redundancy. Next week I have a meeting with HR about my role and I’m not sure what to expect. If they offer me redundancy what should I do? Will it be easy enough to find another similar job? I would like to keep my job but I also wouldnt mind a lump sum! 😅
