This is longest I've not worked in my life it's been 2 years since my last job. I moved to Auckland for a better job better hourly rate better perks. Turns out my previous job was better. New job did my 90 day trial sign a full time contract just to be let go 3 months later. I've got Class 1 Full Drivers License Reach Forklift Licenses Counter Balance. Now I'm been told I need Site Certificates, F Endorsements and whole bunch of other stuff. This is the longest I've ever had to wait

I resigned from my job early this year due to health issues, but talking to boss, he said "when I get better, to come back and I'll have my job back, did all that and it was a "there's nothing at the moment, I was pissed off, I loved my job and was very experienced. I've used them as a reference in my c.v and I keep getting declined or they've (my old job) are giving bad reference to my trying to get another job...Not a happy person...

Anyone got advice for finding farm work around Hamilton? I'm in Auckland and have been working in corporate for around 7 years. I grew up on a farm and want to return to the land so to speak, and see where that takes me. What resources, FB pages or recruiter networks can I research to plan my return to farm life or to find jobs in the area?
