Is anybody else actually really struggling getting a job? I’ve applied for so many! I’ve applied for jobs I’ve had experience in and job I’m over qualified for and 9 times out of 10 I don’t even get an interview. When I do get an interview I get told that I’m perfect for the job then I hear nothing for 2 weeks I reach out and they say they’ve filled the position or don’t even contact me back…

ngl I'm pretty much in similar situation as you. Struggle to get callbacks for interview. I'm on this app like every day.. basically become part of my routine at this point LOL

Supervisor
In my opinion, if you’re overqualified they won’t hire you because they’ll legally have to pay you what you’re worth. The employer is never sure if you - the overqualified, job seeker - aren’t going to ask them to pay you what you’re worth. You essentially become a liability to the company 💀 I would say try applying for a job without anything saying “Management,” “Supervisor,” or “HR” related things and see how that goes?

Yeah it's tough rn 100%. Sounds like you're doing lots right so keep doing what you're doing and hopefully it's not too far away for you.

Might have to resort to the old school way with print outs of my CV and introduce face to face...

yes me aswell.
I apply for jobs I'm qualified for or have experience doing and still nothing. I have even applied for basic labourer or shelf stacker jobs.
the other frustrating thing is there is no communication from employers weather your successful or not. and it would be helpful to know why I have been declined for a position

Work is drying up everywhere. Im a qualified Electrician with all the tickets but still cannot score an interview. It’s a blood bath out there.

An alternative is to band together with people with the right skills, and start a business, offering services. I'm exploring that for technology and business consulting services.

Customer Service Support
In the same boat. In my region any customer service/admin/office jobs have hundreds apply and I often don’t even hear back on what I’ve applied for. I’m not even getting to an interview stage no matter how much I update my cv/cover letters. It’s becoming very disheartening and frustrating to not even get responses from companies who make you jump through hoops and register etc to put in an application.

Yes I’m in the same boat as you. In my case i moved to NZ after getting married and had to wait out few months before applying for work visa. It’s been a year now and I’m still unemployed despite a work visa. Since I got my visa I have only attended three interviews, one in my field and the other two in retail. But I’m being hopeful something will come about soon. Hang in there x
