How long does it take to pass internal sign off when all your background and reference checks are cleared is there a chance where the offer can be withdrawn

I don't think there's a set time Cajetan. I've seen it happen really quick and some companies take a really long time.
It is possible to rescind an offer I think so probably best if you can hold off handing in your notice until it's all 100% confirmed.
