How are we handling those days you just don’t want to work? If you’re just a bit ‘off do you take a personal day? Do you tell your manager you’re taking a mental health day or just say it’s something like food poisoning?

You could just say you're feeling unwell. I dont see why you have to be specific about your health condition.

I'm lucky I've got a good relationship with my Manager so it's usually a pretty straight forward convo. I get not everyone has that tho.

Depends how bad it is. If Im feeling that low, then its a sign my body needs rest. Ive not always had employers I can talk to like that though, and sometimes ive just had to work through it AT work 😟

If you can get away with "Won't be in tomorrow as I'm not feeling great" that's all it needs. Some workplaces are strict on this stuff, and probably the ones you need a break from. If they're not willing to look out for you, then telling them your stomach isn't feeling great probably isn't far from the truth is it
