I’m new to this whole job thing, I’m fresh out of high school and I need to job to pay for a student loan. Is it really this bad getting a job? I must have applied to 20+ places by now and haven’t heard back from a single one. Is this normal?

Not hearing back can be pretty common unfortunately. Where you can try to give them a call/email to ask how you went.
