I narrow my search down to the salary range. I have had a few employers change their salary range during the screening interview. Anyone else come across this?

Yeah I've run into it, it was more like them adjusting because of wha they thought skills etc were worth. In the end their range is just their "offer". If you know you're worth more or can get it, just chase the amount you're after
