Does everyone get a pay rise every year to keep up with inflation? We've been offered 4.5% - is that in line with the cost of living? I'd like to hear where that sits.

Not all the time, and sometimes its other perks that get offered instead, or the job becomes more flexible which makes up for it. Last place felt that WHM options replaced a pay rise, which I can see how it worked out for some people less fuel and all. But its not like they had a choice at the time 😬
