I apply only for jobs I am 100% qualified for and experienced to do. Recently got a rejection email saying my skills “don’t align with the role” mind you the job title was the exact same as my current job title, and I answered all the criteria. I’ve had plenty of rejections but this one just irked me. Does it mean my application wasn’t even looked at by a human? What can I do to communicate that I am actually exactly qualified for a role?

Totally understand how that would leave you feeling, especially when you sound like a great fit! We can't say for sure if the resume was looked at, but it might be worth going over things to check if your CV is ATS Friendly. Here are some tips to get past the robots, and in front of a human: https://www.seek.co.nz/career-advice/article/tips-for-creating-an-ats-friendly-resume ☺️
