I had to wait 45 minutes for a job interview recently. The employer was very apologetic and the interview went well, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Would you see this as a red flag?

Can totally understand that as 45 mins is a decent wait and no one wants to feel like your time isn't as important as theirs. On the other hand I think everyone's entitled to make a mistakes now and them (even employers)...Was there anything else that suggested maybe it was part of a pattern of not valuing their people?

Bit rude, but maybe there really was a genuine reason. I think it's not so much the 45 mins, but how they deal with it. Sounds like you werent really given a reason that cuts it, and they might just manage time poorly. 🤔

Did they have a legitimate reason for 45 minutes? If they did then it might have just been a once off thing? Aside from the time, was there anything else you would consider red flags? If you were offered the job would you take it or do you think you would have some reservations?
