How do you schedule an interview when you already have a full time job? Take annual leave? Do it on a WFH day? Curious about what others do.

I would tell my current employer I have an appointment with either a Dr or specialist, and try to schedule for end of your day. So you don't have to return to work

I’m taking a half day off for an interview. Just want to avoid any interruptions and give it my full focus. Good luck!

Just tell them you have a personal issue that you need to attend to. That way you are not lying to them and you can attend with a clear conscience and nail that interview. Try to schedule for end of the day.

Ive just been lucky, almost every role the boss knows im moving on and usually I've had their support. Just thinking about if I needed to keep it low key, Id probably take some leave to squeeze as many as I can in.
