Interview tip I wish someone told me earlier.😉As a senior marketer, here’s what I tell everyone! Back then, I'd use list tasks like "I managed socials, I ran ads.” But what hiring managers really want is this: How did you solve problems? Why did you make that choice? What did you learn? Even with limited experience, your thinking is your value.
So tell your story like a strategist, not a task-doer. That’s how you stand out. Ever struggled to explain your thought process in an interview?

Love that. IMO most people can be taught how to do a task...but problem solving, judgement and critical thinking are much harder to teach. Definitely something I look out for when interviewing.

Great advice. Sometimes the re-framing of the same information can make a lot of difference in someone's perception of how valuable you are. I also had feedback once that I used too many 'we' statements in my responses. Even though it was a team effort, the Hirer wanted to know what I had done, what I had driven - even if they knew I had a team behind me.
