Me and my gf are moving to NZ for a year. My gf is a doctor and has been offered a job in Whangarei. We were hoping for a bigger city like Wellington, Auckland, Tauranga. What is the likelihood of getting a doctoring job offer in a less rural location?

So stoked you’re making the move over. I think there is a high chance of getting employment as a doctor in the cities that you’ve named. The demand for doctors in NZ, particularly in the city centres, is high. An emerging city I’d add to your list is Hamilton—the bridge city between Auckland and Tauranga.
