Kitchen Hand
I have completed my bachelor degree in hotel management where I learned basic to advance cooking skills, housekeeping, food and beverage serving. I love working in kitchen and worked in my home country Nepal. Currently, i have been working as a kitchen hand from last one year in Ponsonby, Auckland. I want to enhance my cooking skills to become a successful chef.
I applied lots of jobs related to kitchen through seek but I am not getting any response. I am frustrated with applying new job😔

Not hearing back does make it hard Bishal. Do you ever contact the employer to ask for feedback on what you can do better? Might give you a bit more to go on. Also shows you're really keen.

Have you looked at any of the careers websites? Te Heke Mai is a good one to help with mentoring, CV, cover letters. Also there was careers.govt.nz but I think they’re rebranding I can’t remember to what. You can select a career path and they tell you how to get there. And if you sign up to digital suite you can access free courses in all sorts of topics. The ones on how to pivot career should be helpful if there are some. Full access to LinkedIn learning on there too.
