Volunteer
This is similar to what someone else said but it's a relief knowing I'm not the only person struggling to find work. I've applied at least 30 different jobs, got 1 interview out of all that, so far no work! Shocking. One of my mates has also been applying and they've applied to around 250 jobs and got nothing!😱 They currently volunteer at SPCA so at least they are getting experience. I've been on the benefit for 2 years now and really want to find a job to get off of it but nobody's hiring.

New Car Sales Consultant
My wife and I both lost our jobs in the same week in April and know your struggle, endless applications a few interviews and then you don’t hear back or they hire internally. We don’t want to be on the benefit as well as we just bought our first home, keep applying there seems to be a lot of roles popping up now, all the best, thanks for sharing.

applied for 400 jobs and had 7 interviews, on my 7th interview I was successful and then the job was delayed and then eventually cancelled... just keep going

Data Science Intern
Yes it’s hard alright. I just graduated with degree number two, and I’m trying to find a job in the new field but it’s pretty much impossible. I’ve been going for six months seriously looking and casually six months before that. But I haven’t even got a reply from most of them. Not one interview. I’m on sole parent support and I just want a job. At least I got some of my KiwiSaver paid out today so it’s not such a struggle and I can buy a safer car that won’t keep needing expensive repairs.

Child Support Officer
I just looked in a Temping Agency and entered customer service and they only had 1 position then a typed in Administration and they 0. I don't if that is comforting but it now gives me answers to my questions when I read the comments
