Contact Centre Coordinator
Has anyone else experienced a rigorous recruitment process, congratulated by HR for making it this far and the final decision sits with the hiring manager, (understandable). Then told all looks good on their end and that they’d be in touch soon, and a week after that conversation the role has been re‑advertised. Now I’m left unsure whether I’m still being considered or not. My communication has been professional. Should I send a follow‑up email?

What is your take on this? I am trying to look at it and understand it from a recruitment point of view, such as comparison pool against current applicants, job application re-advertised until an offer has been made, a possible oversight? I am assuming at this stage, but it does feel like a kick in the stomach when you've gone through the full process including your references contacted and police checked—and then the role is re-advertised with no communication from the organisation.
