Dear Seek Team, I would like to suggest adding a mandatory field for "Working Hours per Week" in job listings, especially for part-time positions. This will help job seekers better assess whether a role fits their availability before applying, and in turn, save time for both applicants and employers. Some employers include this information, which is helpful. Making it a standard part of job listings would provide clarity and improve the overall efficiency of the recruitment process. Thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion Priyatharshini, the team's always looking for ways to make things better so we'll get this passed along for you. 🙂

It would help even for full-time positions so you know whether it's defined as 40 hours per week or 37.5.

I agree. It’s hard to know sometimes. One I saw was quite unclear, it just said part time and then I realised you’d be working the whole weekend, it was only something like 12 hours a week. I’ve even seen some zero hour contracts advertised which I thought was illegal. Neither of those are even going to come close to paying my bills. Zero hours makes me homeless, and 12 hours at minimum wage is not much better. Plus there’s the training you don’t get if you’re just coming in as a casual.
