Administration Role
Hey - just wondering if anyone has successfully changed careers in their early 50s? I've been in admin for 20+ years but interior design brings me joy. I've been studying and doing really well - but I know things are different outside the classroom.
If anyone has any tips or advice, I'd be really grateful.

Changing careers at our age can be hard, but not impossible! You can use your years of admin experience to your advantage as there are many transferable skills. Promote things like client relations, budgeting, scheduling and project management if you have done any of those. Have you considered admin for an interior designer as a foot in the door? Maybe put together a design portfolio from your studies with your CV to show you have an interest in the industry and approach some companies?
