Moved to a new team and now I work under an absolutely clueless manager. They seem nice but are totally disorganised and I don't know how long I can stand it. Any tips on how to work with incompetent managers before I rage quit?

Try to raise suggestions on structures that could improve the team. Managers always need an ally so that way it shows you are wanting to help but it also may go into improving they way they manage without overstepping

Can relate. I had someone similar a while back. Lovely person but felt like nothing got followed up unless I did it.
I hate the term 'managing up' but I guess that's how I tried to deal with it. Booked in a weekly 1 on 1, took minutes and things did improve a bit.
I ended up leaving eventually but wasn't because of him
