Lead technician - geomechanics
I have a good paying job, but it’s pretty niche. I have basically reached my max potential there and want more - I’m only 29. The environment is pretty toxic, male dominated, I’m a woman. I’m looking to move cities for personal reasons but haven’t managed to find a job in my chosen city. I have a science degree in my field I work in and now considering quitting to study a masters. Is this a good decision? Has anyone done this?

Having lived through a toxic workplace before and moved on, it's hard to really remember how much of it you're tolerating until it all isn't there anymore. It really does take a toll on you. :(

Did you mean you haven't been accepted for any roles, or there's just none being advertised? Sounds like you're off to a pretty great start on your career so far
