Practice Implementation Lead

About the role

This is an exciting new full-time 2 year fixed term/secondment role developed to implement a consistent approach to the quality of practice across our care services through the development and application of systems tools and processes.

The position will work alongside the Operational Managers to ensure we embed the shift we are working towards in our services for tamariki and rangatahi in care following the introduction of the National Care Standards. 

Skills and experience

If you are committed, energetic, passionate and someone who ‘makes things happen’, great at working with others in a complex changing environment then we would love to hear from you. 

The position can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and there is a requirement for regular national travel.

You’ll have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant experience in the social work sector ideally in care/residential provision
  • Previous experience in change management and/or leading significant change processes
  • Project management expertise and implementation
  • The ability to influence and lead within a complex operating environment
  • Excellent communication, facilitation/presentation skills
  • Confidence and ability to work effectively with tamariki, whànau and kaimahi Màori
  • High level written reporting skills
