Support Administrator

We're looking for professional, proactive individual to join our Support Team as a Support Administrator.

This role will create value for our internal and external customers by efficiently and accurately obtaining and updating contact details for Southern Cross Members in a timely manner.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who loves a bit of variety in their everyday role and is passionate about working as a part of a fun and vibrant team to get the work done.

About the role:

  • Claims receipting/lodging
  • Demonstrate effective inbound and outbound call handling skills
  • Inbound and outbound mail processing
  • Ownership of member enquiries, follow up to resolution as appropriate
  • Manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications
  • Ad hoc Reception cover
  • Other administrative duties as required by management

Ideally you’ll have:

  • 1 year previous experience in a call centre
  • 3 - 4 years customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • High attention to detail with quality focus
  • Able to work as a part of a close-knit team and show initiative
  • Good planning & organisation skills, the ability to prioritise and effective time management
  • Excellent written and oral communications
