About the Opportunity 

We are looking for a Graduate Accountant who will be based at our Palmerston North Group Office. You will be motivated, have a positive work ethic and keen to develop new skills. Supporting some of our branches, you will develop expertise in areas such as purchasing and creditors, debtors and credit control, assistance with cashflow forecasting, supporting projects, stock administration, balance sheets, month end and budgets. You will need to be tech savvy and have the desire to gain skill in the systems we use including Dynamics. You should also see yourself undergo professional training through working towards a CA qualification.

You will need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills are a must, given that you’ll be required to interact with a wide number of key internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on role so we are looking for a quick thinker who can solve issues, have high attention to detail and provide accurate information promptly.


About you 
• Tertiary qualification in accounting 
• High attention to detail
• Highly organised, ability to prioritise 
• Advanced in Excel, and comfortable with new technology and computer systems.
• Excellent communication skills
