  • We are seeking 2 people at Assistant Tax Manager/Tax Manager/Senior Tax Manager levels to join our offices in Tauranga or Hamilton.
  • In these roles, you will be part of the management team providing trusted and high quality tax services and expert advice to our clients, whilst also acting as an effective people leader and coach to your team.

What you can expect from your role;

  • What you can expect from your role:
  • Combining fresh and innovative problem solving to complex tax problems and adding real value to our clients
  • Providing day to day leadership and effective coaching to your team
  • Tax assignment preparation and completion - applying understanding of legislation and interpreting case law to ensure we are up to date with the status of Inland Revenue rulings

Be KPMG

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Chartered Accountant or hold a Law Degree)
  • Our preference is that applicants have 4 years Tax experience in a professional services environment or combination of professional services and corporate tax experience with New Zealand Tax exposure.
  • You should have demonstrated leadership skills and effective coaching 
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to build rapport with clients, staff and partners
  • Self motivated with a high level of initiative
