Office Administrator

We are looking for an extraordinary office administrator who has flair for financials to join our team based in trendy Newmarket! We are proud of our fun, supportive, and high-achieving company culture - people here actually look forward to coming to work!

Your role will be packed full of variety where you will work closely with other support staff within the office and across the business to provide administration support to the team. This is a pivotal role in providing high -quality support, so you will enjoy a challenge and be ready to tackle anything that is thrown your way. Therefore you will have a 'can-do attitude" and is highly organised and happy to muck in where needed.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Co-ordinating conferences (sponsorship and attendance)
  • Booking travel arrangements for managers and team
  • Assist with catering and event requirements for the floor
  • Taking Minutes for weekly meetings and track the progress of actions
  • Assist Project Coordinators with some invoicing & running reports
  • Coordinate inductions for new staff
  • Help drive management initiatives to achieve company goals
  • Scanning, printing and filing documentation
  • MasterCard reconciliation for team
  • Formatting of reports on Word & Excel
  • Organising stationery, PPE and office supplies
  • Other miscellaneous administration duties as required

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • To be well presented, a self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Has a flair for numbers and interested in learning some financial duties
  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines with a strong focus on quality
  • A current NZ driver's licence as you may be running errands
