About the role:

Tui Ora Family Health Practice is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Registered Nurse who is committed to improving the health outcomes of our whānau community. You will be part of a dedicated team of health professionals and community-based kaimahi working within a collaborative whānau ora model of care.

  • You will provide nursing intervention, support, treatment and well-health promotion within the primary healthcare environment, to patients, their whānau/families and the community
  • You will need to be able to work independently but you will also be part of the multi-disciplinary general practice team
  • You will ensure that manuhiri/patients are treated respectfully and in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Experience as a Practice Nurse is desired but not essential, as training will be provided
  • Passion for Māori health, wellbeing and thriving whānau
  • Full, clean NZ Driver Licence.

 

Safety Checking:

Tui Ora is committed to the application of the Children’s Act 2014 and its intent to improve the safety of all children. Safety checking for employment will be required for this role.
