Administration Support

This role is to work within the North Canterbury Network Outcome team to carry out general administration functions within the Christchurch office to a consistently high standard, ensuring that we are meeting and exceeding the needs of our internal and external customers while continually seeking improvement in team systems and processes.

In addition to the provision of general administration, specific responsibilities include:

  • Using Downer Business Systems, including JDEdwards ERP, MS Sharepoint, and MS Office to assist staff with administration requirements, including payroll tracking information, plant usage information, and procure-to-pay process;
  • Assist Christchurch based staff with meeting scheduling and organisation, procurement and organisation of supplies, and travel bookings in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist staff to meet and exceed our regulatory requirements in respect of record keeping, equipment tracking and testing, incident and accident monitoring and follow up, and subcontractor documentation.

About you:

  • You will have accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous experience performing financial administration duties
  • Can demonstrate sound financial acumen, including (at least) entry level finance &/or business qualification.
  • Experience using an ERP system such as JDE, SAP, Oracle or similar is required
  • RAMM experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook
  • A Current driver's licence ideally
