The company is a leading provider of IT Managed Services who provide expert business solutions, procurement services, installation services and expert advice for small to medium sized business across New Zealand. They have a great working culture with real autonomy in a relaxed but mature, commercial environment.
 
They are very well established with a very busy workload and excellent client base.
 
Their services include, total managed services, proactive support, inventory management, backup monitoring as well as security and anti-virus management. They are a well-established, leading organisation who work on a range of projects for small to medium level clients across a range of industries. They have long-standing relationships and a loyal customer base built up over years of solid customer service.

Due to substantial growth including hiring key senior staff and moving to a new office premise they require a talented Level 2 Service Desk Engineer to join their team.
 
This is an excellent career growth opportunity with opportunity to move towards more senior work including project management and delivery.
 
Your role will include diagnosing, managing and troubleshooting Level 2 and Level 1 IT requests with clients.
 
The ideal candidate will have the desire to be part of a winning team going through a great deal of growth. You should be well motivated and wanting a long-term permanent role and have excellent communication and customer service skills.


About You:


  • You will be a Service Desk Engineer/Systems Engineer with experience within the Managed service provider sector with 2 years + experience in the New Zealand IT Managed Services sector.
  • Experience troubleshooting Level 2 and Level 1 IT requests.
  • Excellent communications skills and experience in dealing directly with clients.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • A current Microsoft certification would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Experience in migrations in Active Directory, complex networks, Microsoft and other virtualization technology, multi-site / multi customer environment and Managed Services environments.
  • Hyper-V, VMWare, Virtual Machine Migration tools
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SCCM, Group Policy, Server 2008, 2012 & 2016
  • Office 365
  • Well-motivated and wanting a long-term permanent role.
