Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a great customer service professional to join a Local Government Agency in the heart of Wellington's CBD.

  • Part-Time, Permanent
  • Immediate Start
  • Sunday - Monday, 8 hour shifts
  • $40-45k pro-rata salary

The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a close knit, sociable team within local government. Come and expand your customer service skills whilst adding continual value to the public.

Support Wellingtonians with your amazing customer service skills, taking inquiries, complaints and providing up-to-date information via phone, email and social media streams.


The People
We are looking for candidates with strong customer service experience. Whether that is from hospitality, retail or tourism that are looking for a new challenge within contact centre. No previous contact center experience necessary - just an eagerness to learn and the ability to work in a team.

Candidates MUST HAVE:

  • Strong Local Knowledge of Wellington Area
  • Resilience & Ability to Work Under Pressure
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Empathy
  • Assertiveness Problem Resolution
  • Previous Experience dealing with Difficult Situations and Customers
