We are looking for a full-time, permanent Insurance Adviser based in Mt Wellington, Auckland - ANZ Sylvia Park Branch that will start in mid-January 2020.

Job Purpose/Objective:

Reporting to the Senior Insurance Adviser, the purpose of the Insurance Adviser is:

  • To present suitable and quality advice to our customers in line with our purpose and Cigna values.
  • To support the designated regional team to help customers and communities thrive by protecting what is important to them ensuring they are equipped with appropriate knowledge of product and process.

Critical Priorities & Responsibilities:

Financial:

  • Responsible for achieving specialist life sales.
  • Responsible for achieving sales through Retail and Business Banking by lifting frontline capability across these product lines:
    • Life and Living insurance

Customer:

  • Ensure that customers retain the appropriate level of cover.
  • Provide suitable advice to customers through seamless customer experience.

Process:

  • Ensure adherence to our customer and application process for quality, suitable advice.
  • Ensure strong pipeline management – e.g. cycle times, application quality.

People:

  • Build strong relationships through strong stakeholder management.

Experience/ Education /Knowledge Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years selling experience in the Banking/Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstration of proven sales results/performance.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Insurance and Funds Management industry.
