The Opportunity
Our Auckland Building Services team holds some of the region's most highly recognised engineering talent and are continually developing and honing their ability to tackle some of the most complex building services projects across New Zealand and internationally. We are looking for a graduate to join our ICT team working on communication and security designs for a wide range of commercial, education, airport and health care buildings.
About you
You will be completing or have recently completed a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems or Mechatronics. You will be keen to learn about, working either independently as a structured cabling systems designer or a member of a multi-disciplined project team developing solutions for integrating structured systems into diverse building architectural designs and with other technology systems such as audio-visual, MATV, Security, Networks, Cabling Infrastructures, and Nurse Call etc. Producing designs as part of the traditional construction industry project delivery process including space programming, schematic design, detail design, construction documents, and contract administration.

You can expect to be involved in:
- Meeting customers for briefing of requirements.
- Planning and designing a wide array of electronics, from audio equipment, security and CCTV.
- Prepare engineering schematics and specifications for construction, relocation, or installation of equipment, facilities, products, or systems.
- Writing technical reports
- Attending meetings with ELV/ICT subcontractors
