About the Employer
My client is an independent family business, 100% New Zealand owned and located in South Auckland’s Industrial Hub, they have been operating as market leaders in their field for over 25 years. Dedicated to servicing their customers, they offer a wide range of Engineering & Industrial Equipment, and they are now looking for a Marketing and Ecommerce Webstore Administrator to join their growing team to help drive sales and develop new opportunities.
  
About the Role:
This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to execute a range of social media and marketing activities which will be pivotal to the ongoing success of this business. The successful candidate will produce a range of marketing & promotional material including online & printed flyers, promotional items and a regular e-newsletter, as well as manage the content for our clients’ brand new e-commerce website. We are looking for an organised, computer savvy individual, with an eye for design and great attention to detail. Our preferred candidate will be able to juggle a variety of tasks and will be comfortable working with a small close-knit team where no two days are the same.

Duties:
  • Maintain and manage content for E-Commerce website
  • Prepare order received via website/email for despatch team
  • Manage and develop content & promotions for Social Media (Facebook / Instagram)
  • Create e-newsletters and campaigns and manage email subscriber list
  • Create flyers, special offers, promotional material
  • Handle basic customer enquiries
Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role you will:
  • Have a proven track record and competency in graphic design and marketing
  • Be comfortable using MailChimp or similar e-newsletter software 
  • Have website, content management & e-commerce experience
  • Have proven experience with social media marketing, including paid advertising campaigns
  • High level of computer literacy and an ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Be able to juggle multiple tasks within prescribed timeframes
  • Have excellent written and communication skills
  • Possess outstanding attention to detail
