Customer Service - National Aquarium of New Zealand

Casual

The National Aquarium of New Zealand is owned by the people of Napier and Napier City Council. It attracts 150,000 visitors each year and offers a wide range of experiences from diving displays and keeper talks, to getting up close and personal with little penguins. Its centrepiece exhibit is the stunning 1.5 million litre Oceanarium with a 50m-long viewing tunnel.

We're looking for motivated and focused individuals to join our high performing team at the Aquarium in a casual role.

You will provide a welcoming experience to all visitors and deliver service excellence across reception, retail and cafe, including food preparation and food service. You will be confident in dealing with people face to face, listening to visitor's needs and delivering a consistently high level of service at all times. It is essential that you are friendly and helpful, in order to maximize and provide a positive experience.

This role will appeal to highly focused individuals who want to develop their skills and contribute to the way visitor service is delivered in one of New Zealand's leading tourist attractions. A current first aid certificate, duty manage certificate and food hygiene qualifications are desirable.
