Business  Finance  Adviser - Hamilton

We have an opportunity for a Business Finance Adviser – based in Hamilton, who will provide support to the Regional Manager, Finance, Property and Technology (FPT), and the Regional Leadership team. 

This role has a wide span so you will be responsible for a range of tasks from financial planning, facility and property analysis & monitoring, IT planning & contract monitoring and multiple level reporting requirements.

You will also support the development of and provide financial and non-financial advice and business planning guidance to managers across the region so your ability to communicate financial concepts in relevant language to the business will be key.

 

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A business partnering approach with developed business acumen
  • Experience in use of financial management and accounting systems
  • An understanding of accountancy both theory and practical
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be working with multiple stakeholders
  • Enjoy problem solving and innovative solution finding
  • Strong interpersonal skills

 

In this role you will be self managing so you must be able to work independently, have drive and high energy levels, manage your workload efficiently, and have high personal standards.


The position will require some travel throughout the Region therefore a full NZ driving license is required. The successful applicant will be required to undertake a credit check.

The salary band for this position is $96, 557 to $136,316
