Head of People Business Partnering
This is a newly created role in Zespri as we continue to develop our People function to best support a growth organisation. We are establishing centres of excellence within the team to best support a full People Business Partnering model.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will be responsible for ensuring people practices align and support the achievement of the strategic goals of the business through the delivery of strategic business partnering by a global team of business partners and people specialists. You will ensure the effective change leadership of people strategy and initiatives, working collaboratively at all times with the People Lead Team and Business Leaders.
  
Key Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of the People Lead Team level, contributing to the setting and delivering on the overall direction of the People Strategy  to ensure that Zespri continues to evolve, innovate and lead the in the People arena, ensuring a winning culture and an environment where our people thrive.
  • Establish long-term objectives and strategic direction for the global business partnering function which aligns with the organisational strategy
  • Ensure Zespri Leaders are fully equipped to lead their people, fully embrace accountability for their people, appropriately utilize the People Team’s expertise
  • Develop functional People Planning frameworks that will drive business performance whilst leveraging global frameworks and initiatives
  • Develop a values-driven, high-performing and engaged global business partnering team by providing vision and direction and inspiring and empowering them to succeed.
  • Drive the process to ensure that the People business partnering business plan and budgets are developed, approved, managed, reviewed and reported upon
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum degree level qualification preferably in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Management
  • Minimum 8 years generalist Human Resources experience
  • Global Human Resource Management experience and strong people leadership across all HR disciplines.
  • Has extensive knowledge of HR-related disciplines, functions, and the organization’s specific HR operating model. Experience of leveraging people system capabilities to generate insight (Essential)
