Central District is responsible for the delivery of policing services across diverse communities and a large geographical area spanning across the Manawatu, Whanganui and Taranaki policing areas.

 

As a key member of the Central District Intelligence team you will be responsible for supporting the District's decision-makers as well as investigative and frontline staff.

 

As an Intelligence Analyst it is an exciting and evolving area to work in and we are seeking a talented, motivated and innovative individual to be part of our team. A background in Intelligence work is desirable but not a prerequisite as the successful applicant will be provided training and will be required to complete the New Zealand Diploma in Intelligence Analysis (NZDIA). Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must hold New Zealand or Australian citizenship or residency
  • As part of the interview process, applicants will be required to undertake a scenario test
  • Shift work is a component of this position
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain an appropriate security clearance
