Head of People Shared Services
This is a newly created role in Zespri as we continue to develop our People function to best support a growth organisation. We are establishing centres of excellence within the team to best support a full People Business Partnering model.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will be responsible for delivering outstanding, reliable, credible global people transactional &  operational services. You will work closely with the Heads of Centres of Excellence, Head of Reward & Insights and Head of Business Partnering developing best practice people strategies, processes and guidelines that will support the business and its people to thrive and perform at a high level. 

Please note, this position is based in Zespri's head office in Mount Maunganui. 

Key Responsibilities:
You will be a key member of the People Lead Team level, contributing to the setting and delivering on the overall direction of the People Strategy  to ensure that Zespri continues to evolve, innovate and lead the in the People arena, ensuring a winning culture and an environment where our people thrive.
  • Establish long-term objectives and service standards for the operations function (and systems) that align with the organisational strategy
  • Identify and implement improvement solutions for the shared service function
  • Develop a service management framework, incorporating service quality standards to demonstrate service excellence
  • Determine criteria and measures to evaluate effectiveness of People processes and systems
  • Identify compliance requirements for the People systems
  Key Skills and Experience:
  • Tertiary level education in area of HR or Technology systems
  • Experience of leading a team to deliver services (Essential),
  • Experience of a global environment with service management capabilities (Desirable)
  • Experience of leveraging people system capabilities to generate insight (Essential)
  • Strong communicator both verbal and written
