Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking someone who wishes to either kickstart and/or advance their Human Resources career as a HR Coordinator supporting our New Zealand production operations.

Based in Blenheim, a world-renowned wine region and reporting through to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing proactive and efficient Human Resources coordination and administrative support to local winery and viticulture operations.

The role is a full-time permanent position and the generalist nature of the role provides a great level of variety and learning opportunity to grow your career as a leading HR professional. The local team is friendly and fun to work within.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting recruitment and selection
  • Coordinating employee on and offboarding
  • Administration of a variety of HR general processes and procedures
  • HR project work

To be successful in this role, you must have customer service and administration work experience (preferably in human resources, payroll or business administration). You need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to always maintain confidentiality and have a track record as a proven team player. You need to be of at least an intermediate level within Word, Outlook and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems. You need to be able to look for opportunities to streamline/simplify admin processes, while still focusing on an excellent outcome. You will require good analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. A strong sense of ethics and customer service focus, with a friendly and helpful communication style is key to this role.
