Meco Engineering is a successful engineering business in Taranaki with expertise in structural engineering, light fabrication engineering, specialized engineering and project management services

Due to an internal promotion we are looking for the right person to work with us to manage our administration function and support the General Manager.

This is a fast paced environment so the position will suit applicants who are team players, achievement oriented and personable.

 

This is a fulltime position with responsibility for 2 employees and a range of functions from accounts receivable, accounts payable, health and safety, payroll and employee records as well as the overall running of the office.

Applicants need to have previous experience in administration and accounting roles, have finance skills including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoices and job costing and a real focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Intermediate/advanced proficiency with Microsoft office tools, especially MS Excel, proficiency with accounting/finance packages – (Accredo, ACE Payroll preferred) and database management and maintenance skills are also required. In addition applicants need to be customer oriented and have good organisational skills.
