About the business and the role
Our company provides day trips from Auckland to the most popular tourist attractions around the country in small groups. We are looking for drivers and guides of our 17, 12 & 7 seater minibuses to provide an amazing experience to our customers while having fun themselves. We are a rapidly growing company that focuses on our staff having development opportunities and job satisfaction. We offer over market rates with flexible working. Please only apply if you have had your full NZ licence for at least 2 years, and have or are about to receive a P Endorsement, a legal requirement for this job which allows you to transport passengers. We will only accept application with Proof of P endorsement supplied.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Safely picking up and transporting customers to the tourist attractions and back.
Guiding them through the trip and providing commentary about the area, New Zealand and our culture etc.
Guiding customers through attractions where needed.
Ensuring that our customers have an amazing trip that is carefree and fun.
Keeping vehicle clean and undamaged.
Collecting tour payments from customers.
Skills and experience
Please only apply if you meet this criteria:
Outgoing and friendly person that will engage with our guests and go the extra mile to make their day.
Currently has a NZ Passenger Endorsement (proof required)
Clean full driving licence.
Extensive Knowledge about New Zealand and it's culture.
Excellent customer service skills.
High level of English.
Excellent driving skills and able to drive while providing commentary and entertaining customers.
