Senior Claims Support Specialist

Claims are looking for a new Senior Claims Support Specialist to join the team.  This is a broad role that will see you supporting the Claims Support Manager in the overall management of the team through helping manage the daily workload of the team and case allocation.  You will also be the subject matter expert and trainer for our offshore Claims team managing the claim assessment, quality authorisations and enquiries for this area.  This means that your ability to build effective working relationships, deliver results quickly and juggle a number of different priorities will be vital to success.

You will be responsible for providing specialised support to the team, overseeing the team’s quality assurance, triaging new claims and managing customer complaints as well as providing the team with service insights to enable continuous improvement.  You will also oversee the Claims financial and accrual reporting and claim reconciliations; so, experience in Excel and reconciliations will come in handy.

As a technical specialist you will be sharing your knowledge and helping mentor, coach and support the team to ensure alignment with AMP best practice and be the back up to the Claims Support Manager.  This is a senior role that will offer both challenge and reward for the successful individual.  The Claims team are on an exciting journey and looking for  an experienced Claims Specialist to be part of this and help drive the team to continue to be market leading.
