Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader, we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Sampler to be based at our offices in Auckland, New Zealand.

 


The purpose of this role is ensure materials are sampled promptly and in accordance with local SOPs.

 


The Role: 

  • Sample all incoming materials, excipients, APIs, packaging and minerals in accordance with local SOPs
  • Clean and maintain raw material sampling booth
  • Complete all associated paperwork for material sampling
  • Complete testing on incoming packaging
  • Ensure any issues with inwards materials are communicated promptly to the QC Team Leader
  • Document all analytical data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity principles
  • Ensure general laboratory housekeeping and equipment housekeeping is completed
  • Ensure all data is ready for review prior to sending to QC Team Leader for checking
  • To carry out all reasonable instructions and to undertake any work reasonably required by the company in accordance with the principles of GMP
 

What you will have:  

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a science related field
  • Previous material sampling experience desirable
  • Understanding of GMP principles and practices
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and keep up with techniques
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility – able to switch between tasks
  • Excellent organisational skills for maintaining accurate documentation
  • Lean 6 Sigma / 6S experience desirable
