Payroll Project Officer

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the highly experienced Group Payroll Manager, you will be an integral member on a number of payroll projects across the ANZ region, building on your Project Management skills.

With a lot of variety, you will need to utilise your extensive Payroll knowledge and time management skills, whilst also having the opportunity to build your personal brand through extensive engagement with the stakeholders across the group.

The Role
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager and working closely with the Compliance team, your duties will include;
  • Driving a number of group projects forward (Holidays Act, System Implementation, Long Service Leave etc.)
  • Engaging with stakeholders to collate the information required, working closely with the compliance team
  • Identifying opportunities for ongoing improvements and making suggestions to the business
  • Answering queries and providing training to the payroll team / stakeholders on new processes as required
  
Your Profile
  • 5+ years’ payroll experience, ideally with some of that gained in a larger / corporate organisation
  • Experience with both Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation is beneficial but not essential
  • Have had exposure to working on payroll projects / updates / implementations
  • Be systems savvy, have strong Excel skills and be keen to drive best practice processes
  • Be either a New Zealand Citizen, Resident or hold a valid working visa
