Graduate Planner | Whangerei

A long-established Whangarei based planning and surveying consultancy are seeking a GRADUATE PLANNER to their ever-growing Planning team.

This young and enthusiastic business specialise in surveying, planning, civil engineering, land development and project management, servicing a diverse range of public and private sector clients with some of the most exciting projects happening in the Northland right now!

The role:

  • Management and preparation of all types of consents, including the coordination of various consultants, preparation of expert evidence and attendance at council and court hearings as required.
  • Subdivision consents.
  • Land use consents
  • Certificates of compliance
  • Plan Changes
  • Notices of requirement

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in resource management planning
  • This is an entry level role, prior planning experience will be beneficial but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude and keen to expand your skill-set as a planner
  • Switched on, outside the box thinker. 
  • AMBITIOUS & PASSIONATE!
