Creative Designer

Work across all aspects of traditional & motion graphic design for a friendly tourism brand in a 6-month contract

 

  • Work with an exciting marketing team who are growing quickly

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This tourism brand is well known in the industry for providing exceptional experiences to Kiwis, run by a team who are passionate about travel and want every client to walk away having had a truly unique experience. Based in large, modern offices in the heart of the city, you’ll be a quick walk from all the transport and entertainment you could ever want. Their marketing team is comprised of experts who’ve been with this company for several years and are eager to welcome someone into their fun and flexible work culture.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role encompasses several key channels:

  • Email, where you’ll design templates with HTML
  • Social Media, where you’ll build creative assets for use across Facebook and similar mediums
  • Video, using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create & edit videos and animations
  • Print, where you’ll create assets for posters and brochures

 

You’ll sit as a key member of the marketing team, as your creative and engaging content will help raise brand awareness and drive community engagement. This role also has the potential to become fulltime, as our client is keen for someone who can come in to own the creative direction and offer fresh ideas for their marketing campaigns.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

As this role has a range of key channels, you’ll bring proven experience across the Adobe Creative Suite and working with HTML/CCS. A mind for performance-driven campaigns is beneficial, as this company is in a high growth phase. Being a savvy communicator is key too, as you’ll be working across a variety of briefs and will be excellent at liaising with suppliers to ensure projects run to timeline.

 

  • Proven experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, including tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience with HTML and CCS
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in handling complex briefs
  • Desire to grow within their role and influence marketing strategy
  • Thorough time management and proactive attitude
